The Position

We are now seeking a highly talented Financial Manager to function as a critical part of a dynamic team located in Sofia, Bulgaria. We are a fast-paced but casual environment with highly talented peers. The most successful team members are versatile, disciplined and enjoy focusing on new challenges.

The right person for the position is well-versed in all aspects of financial management ranging from simple accounting to broad investment and banking operation, and at the same time is an excellent leader since all relative departments will be under their command. It's a very important and complex role, therefore the seriousness of this paragraph.


Responsibilities

  • Drive the company’s financial planning
  • Perform risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments
  • Manage the Accounting and Finance Team
  • Take active participation within the different forecast cycles, target setting, budget and strategic planning
  • Manage the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and oversee the preparation of all financial and treasury reporting
  • Establish and develop relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders
  • Advise on long-term business and financial planning
  • Ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies
  • Lead the System Integration process
  • Manage and lead domestic and international tax accounting, verification and documentation of financial transactions, research and analysis of tax implications domestically and internationally;

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in Finance/Accounting
  • Proven experience as Finance Officer or relevant role
  • In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial management software (Navision)
  • Ability to strategize and solve problems
  • Knowledge of banking and financial payments infrastructure
  • Experience in strategy development
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Excellent written and verbal command of English
  • An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers
  • Previous experience in the IT industry will be considered an advantage
  • International working experience will be considered an advantage
  • Master's in Accounting, Finance or relevant field, or MBA will be considered an advantage
